Hey everyone. Things are going good for me *touch wood* Got me an awesome job and life's getting all busy and adult-like with having to check schedules for free time etc. I'm so excited to be seeing the family for Xmas. I haven't seen them since October, so there'll be muchos hugs going around and i'll come back home a few pounds heavier after all of my mum's food. I can't wait. How are you? Hello all, hope anyone who reads this is well. How are you? Well, I've been living in London for five months now (just writing it down depresses the hell out of me) and i still haven't found work. It's so difficult, maybe I'm just not employee material. It's starting to really drag me down now. I feel like I'm pretty useless and that I've let my parents down. I discovered the music of Billy Holiday yesterday, when i say discovered i actually mean i took the time to listen and read about her. I knew who she was before yesterday of course. The song that won me over was Strange Fruit, it's one of the only ones i don't have as it is too creepy to come across on shuffle on my iPod whilst in the park or something. You have to listen to it to know what i mean. Her voice is wonderful. I think she is one of the only female singers i actually loved instantly, i guess it's her voice, it's haunting and so unique.
